Fontanel Bernard

Bernard Fontanel was born in 1947.
As a building designer, his unusual career led him to discover Australia
Through the construction of the opera
Sydney but also mining in the Bush (search for mineral deposits). Cultivating the extremes, he then stayed in Japan where he was introduced to traditional painting and Zen philosophy. He experimented with various aspects of
Working condition on his return to France (road, carpenter) then devoted himself to the craft of art: It keeps for four years a workshop of framing where it organizes exhibitions of contemporary engravings. He has always been passionate about the image and is committed to reveal through photography, the secret beauty and poetry of the world of work and to restore the dignity of the “little people”.
He made these 10 images from a series of 42 photographs showing the way between 1993 and 2003.
